Audition Process

Filmmakers:

This will consist of a informal chat about your work and who you are. We would ask you to send across some examples of your work before your interview so we can review it and prepare some questions that we would like to ask. For example, if you’re a writer, bring some scripts that you’ve written or if you’re an editor, bring a couple of projects you’ve worked on. We will ask all interviewee's to sign in at 9am, then at 10am we will begin a workshop that everyone will be involved in. At 12 noon we will then start interviewing you one by one in which you will recieve a specific time slot for.

Actors:

We will ask you to prepare a monologue of roughly 2-3 minutes, this should be chosen or written to suit your style of acting and ability. For example, if you are a comedic actor, there isn’t much point in doing a shakespearean monologue. On that note, we would prefer that you perform a monologue from a film or TV show, rather from a musical or play. You may also write your own. Please bring a copy of your monologue with you. We will also send you a set of sides that we will prepare and ask you to learn and perform for us in your one on on audition. We will ask all auditionee's to sign in at 9am, then at 10am we will begin a workshop that everyone will be involved in. At 12 noon we will then start auditioning you one by one in which you will recieve a specific time slot for. After you've performed your monologue and sides, we will have an informal chat with you, just to find out a bit about you as a person and why you want to do the course.

Please remember, this is as much for you to find out about us, as it is for us to find out about you. So please bring questions if you have any!

You can make it happen!
